Prioritize Your Tasks
Use the Eisenhower Matrix to categorize tasks by urgency and importance. Focus on high-priority tasks first. The Eisenhower Matrix, also known as the Eisenhower Box or the Urgent-Important Matrix, is a time management tool that helps prioritize tasks based on their urgency and importance. It divides tasks into four quadrants: Quadrant I (Urgent and Important), Quadrant II (Not Urgent but Important), Quadrant III (Urgent but Not Important) and Quadrant IV (Not Urgent and Not Important). These Eisenhower matrix sticky notes are effective and convenient.

Set Clear Goals
Break your long-term goals into smaller, actionable steps. Set daily and weekly goals to stay on track.Set SMART goals. SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. To set a SMART goal, make sure it’s clear and detailed, with a way to track progress. Ensure the goal is realistic and aligns with your broader objectives and set a deadline to stay focused. For example, “I will run a 5k in 3 months by training for 30 minutes, 4 times a week.”
Use the Pomodoro Technique
Work in blocks of time (e.g., 25 minutes) followed by short breaks (5 minutes). This helps maintain focus and prevent burnout. There are plenty of Pomodoro apps on the App Store, but if you're like me and prefer not to use your phone during focused work to avoid distractions, you might want to try a standalone Pomodoro timer instead.
